Flexible Pages
I have regularly used the ideas of James Shook in his article 'Flexible Page
Layout Using Tables' http://www.dwfaq.com/Tutorials/Table...ble_tables.asp to create web pages that expand and contract to cope with the differing size windows and display resolutions. The elements appear to squash-up and expand to fill the available space, and it works well. However I am designing pages which require overlapping elements, so using tables gets very awkward. Can I achieve some of the same flexibility when using layers as I do with Mr Shook's tables? |
