website to link to in case of large files
I look for a free website that allows to deposit images etc. to which
you link when posting in a newsgroup that doesn't allow to post images. I once saw one but don't remember the name. Google Docs is not a solution as it doesn't allow to store images. thanks Frank |

You can upload an image without logging in but if you want to see your images, or later delete an image you would have had to have been logged on when you uploaded. Haven't tried it but here is an interface (one of many) that looks interesting ImageBot is a Bulk/Batch/Mass Image Uploader... http://media.putfile.com/ImageBot-Firefox-Extension -- video https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1174 |

If you want to provide a screenshot when posting here, there are a number of image hosting web sites you can use. * <http://picasaweb.google.com/>. * <http://www.flickr.com/> * <http://photobucket.com/> and more <http://www.google.com/search?q=image+hosting> -- Chris Ilias <http://ilias.ca> List-owner: support-firefox, support-thunderbird, test-multimedia |
