their bookmarks. Either adding new ones or updating old ones.

Yes, I didn't know the proper name. And I forgot to say I have a Mac.

I have now updated to FF 3.0.1 (Mac) and it isn't dealing with the
favicons either!

3.01 only uses favicons for sites that actually furnish one. Back in
version 2.0x, almost all sites had a favicon 'assigned'.


Each site must have a favicon.ico to have one with Firefox 3.x, but all
is not lost.

There are several utilities that can provide favicons that you can
'assign' to sites if you so wish.
