Personal toolbar folder
As in 2.x now in 3.01 I still use the Personal Bookmark Toolbar for
quick access to everyday bookmarks which is displayed as the Bookmark Toolbar. The only difference is it now has "most visited" button at the far left. Believe there was another 1 or 2 such as news when I first installed 3.0, but deleted them since they took up needed space. Perhaps I also deleted a button representing the entire list of BM's, don't recall. Presumably this is what everyone refers to as "bookmarks toolbar" which is on the BM dropdown. And there I see the list of what is contained in the Personal BM Toolbar. Also when BM is opened full screen there it is at the bottom below newsgroups as Personal Toolbar Folder. (the only item seen below that on the list (but at the same level as "bookmarks menu" is "unsorted BM's" which I don't use.) Then near the top is "bookmarks toolbar" which is at the same level as "bookmarks Menu" and it carries all of the multiple button BM's listed in Personal Toolbar Folder, but not the individual BM's in the Personal BM Toolbar, nor any other bookmarks as in the BM Menu. Thought this manner of presentation a bit weird so ask if that's as it should be in consideration of the deletions I made. Is this this the only method to have quick access to BM's as we did in 2.x? And why is it listed twice in the full screen BM view? Miles |

Made a change to a folder in the Personal Toolbar Folder and Discovered it was not being used, that that Bookmarks Toolbar was being used for that purpose. So deleted the PTF. Now the question is: Apparently I've managed to manufacture a PTF to my satisfaction, but have lost the complete Bookmark Toolbar, which is OK as I consider it duplication. Is there another method to present the PTF as it was in 2x? Miles |
