Firefox 3.0.1

Overall, I have been having performance problems since the new version
installed. Perhaps it is less tolerant of older JS or bad code? It
appears sluggish and the momentary freezes are starting to cause me to
use IE which I don't want to do. I am having multiple problems with
Gmail and some of the other sites I frequently vist not to mention my
google photo screensaver is not supported.

Anyone else having problems?

Only way someone can offer assistance is for you to tell something about
your system, etc. Ram, CPU and so forth. Other apps running. The only
thing we do know is you're running Firefox.

Revert back to version 2.0.16 and see if you still have the same issues.

I'm using a Lenovo T60
1 GB ram
Windows XP Pro
T2400 Processor 1.83 Ghz

I use typical MS Office applications including Word, Excel, IE,
Outlook.

Nope, but I had a lot of miscellaneous problems before creating a new
profile.
Give that a try.

I've had zero problems with any version of Firefox I have used,
including 3.0.1. That's one of the reasons Firefox is my preferred browser.

Please provide urls for sites where you are experiencing difficulties so
it can be researched.

Currently I am not aware of 'more' problems with 3.01 than with any
other version.

It is probably related to how some of use use the program, and how many
extensions/plugins/themes we use.
