This should be easy, how come no help?
I am a new FF user (ver. 3). When I first used FF & closed the program with
multiple tabs open I got a dialog box that said, "Do you want Firefox to save your tabs for the next time it starts?", I chose Quit and checked the box that said "Do not ask me next time". In the future if I do want FF to save my tabs for the next start-up I'm sure that there must be a menu choice (or other way) to do this. Can someone please tell me how to do this? -- Thanks in advance... Bob |

Re: This should be easy, how come no help?
I don't understand why people tell me to uncheck this box. Am I saying the
problem wrong? Unchecking this box tells FF not to give me the choice of saving the tabs or not. That box IS currently unchecked. My question was this, since FF will not automatically ask me about saving the tabs, can I manually tell FF to save them (only this time - not a constant reminder)& open to them next time I start FF? Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any way for doing a such thing. Personally, I always leave FF opened and leave this option checked. Having to click "Save and Quit" or "Quit" each time I have to close FF, which doesn't happen very often, is not a big deal for me... Sometimes, when I accidentally click the close button, I really appreciate this reminder :) |

First, if you wish I will try to remember to "bottom feed" this group. Keep in mind though that most people I am aware of prefer not to have to scroll endlessly through things they probably have already read to get to the new part. I realize everyone has their preferences. I believe however that mine is the predominate viewpoint as that is how Microsoft has chosen to make it's newsreader. Regarding my original question I guess there is no such "one time" option. Several people (and links such as yours) have shown how FF can be set to do this as a default but not as a one time option. Thanks... bob |

I'm not sure it has this option you're talking about, but it has some very cool features you should try out: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2324 (I'm not spamming and not getting anything from session author, I just use and like it) Regards, -- Thiago Henrique Pojda |

I Confirm it has the functionality that Bob is looking for. Everybody should give it a try! |
