FF3 won't restart...
after sorting thru the last months messages, it seems i am the only
person who's FF3 won't restart? Can that be true? i have to log off or re-start the computer... to get FF3 up and running every single time its closed... -- .... If at first you don't succeed, try management. * TagZilla 0.066 * http://tagzilla.mozdev.org |

Try using File/Exit to end the program, and if it refuses to restart, then go to the task manager and force the program to end. This is vastly better than rebooting. |

Problem is, browsers, like Firefox usually have several processes 'open' and therefore it isn't exiting. Use File-->Exit |

It's a standard in TB, OOo... Maurice |

But since the menu for the running application is displayed at the top of the screen (not in the window) when you close the window and the menu remains, it is quite obvious you didn't quit/close/exit the program. Windows doesn't mandate that Control Q is quit like Apple does You can add an add-on to Firefox that gives you a 'Exit' icon in the toolbar tho https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2218 Exit Button Firefox |

That's strange. ctrl+q is the shortcut under GNU/Linux, even though ctrl+w closes the tab. |
