Well, FireFox has a backup set of your bookmarks. Have you tried copying
them, renaming them to "bookmarks.html" and then pasted the original bookmarks.bak file back to your profile folder? Its easy to do. I suppose the easiest way to do this would be to use the search function of your system to copy your "bookmarks.bak" file, deleting your old "bookmarks.html" file, renaming your "bookmarks.bak" to "bookmarks.html" and then by pasting they "bookmarks.bak" file back to the same folder location.
