Rare behavior when clicking
Hi,
About 2 days ago Firefox started to do something strange, when I click on a link (and then it opens a new tab) a blinking position mark (sorry, I don't know how it is said in English but it is the line that appears on any word processor) appears close to the link . That occurs with links, images and even just text, I click on any part of the site and that blinking mark appears on the line the mouse pointer stay. Any idea on what's going on? I use Firefox 1.5.0.1 and Win XP Pro SP2 (the 1.5.0.1 version run great since it went public) |

F7 turns it on & off. |

Its the "Find in this Page" option, under Edit. In other programs its called "Find Text as you type" or "Find Links as you type" or "Find in this Message" |

When I press F7 now a warning message pop-ups but I don't remember that message appearing when the problem first occurred. And Ctrl+F ('Find in this page' under 'Edit') doesn't interfere with F7, I mean, I can still find text as I type independently F7 is on or off. Thanks a lot. |
