Tools -> Options -> Content. Beside 'Enable JavaScript', click on
"Advanced". Check mark "Move or resize existing windows".

Try this.
Uncheck that box, and then surf until you get a popup.
If the box is too small, then enlarge it until you think its the right size.
THEN, go back and check the box

Re: Firefox pop-up window problem

We have two logins on our Windows 2K computer. One login didn't have
the problem described and one did. So I checked about:info to see which
extensions differed between logins. The problem login had FoxyTunes,
Gmail Space, and Site Advisor extensions that the non-problem login did
not. I disabled FoxyTunes and my popup windows were a bit larger but
not as large as they should be. Next I disabled SiteAdvisor, and that
solved the problem. All popup windows are now the correct size, even
the ones that I couldn't resize before. To see if SiteAdvisor was the
causing the problem solely, I enabled FoxyTunes, but the problem
recurred. Consequently, I have both FoxyTunes and SiteAdvisor disabled.

Hope this helps with your problem.

JT

I've seen a lot of things but I've never seen about:info. Can you
tell me what that does?

Something to Ponder: Why do you have to "put your two cents in" . . .
but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny
going to?

Re: Firefox pop-up window problem

Install the extension InfoLister. Then you can type about:info in the
location bar to see all of the extensions plugins you have installed.
Or you can select Tools/InfoLister.

I guess you mean extensions. Plug-ins are something different.
