When reading messages on forums I participate in, I have to continually
scroll left and right to read them. When using IE I can see whole message.
What setting do I have to change to fix this in Firefox?

Can't say for sure without seeing the actual page where this happens,
but most likely this is a problem within the page source code and you
can't do much about it. (except install some excention which modifies
source code automaticly to more suitable format). But best solution
would be to inform the forum support person and ask him/her to fix the
situation.

The reason why it "works" on IE, is usually because IE renders the page
incorrectly.
