After a bit of reading round to find out how, I've managed to get the feeds from that page, but had to install them via Bookmarks>Manage Bookmarks>File>New Live Bookmark - what a pain. Still, I don't have to do it very often, only when they break the old system like this time. Pity they can't get it working as well as the BBC site, that's excellent with regard to RSS feeds. The one that should (in the address bar) adds an entry as it should, but the entry fails to load. Surely it shoudl produce a submenu of the different options? What is it supposed to be adding? The ones that I wanted - in the text - just go to the code page of course. As I said, I found out how to add them the hard way, but it's a nuisance to anyone that tries the correct (easy?) way. The main problem for me was this page https://addons.mozilla.org/feeds.php which is the obvious one to use (it takes some finding from a tiny menu entry at the bottom of a page). There are no icons at all, never mind a menu of them as there would be on a well designed site. Basically, the whole thing is a complete cock-up. It's the live bookmark links embedded in the page head. I did some digging, and found that it's being worked on, but there some issues with the PHP code. -- Chris Ilias mozilla.test.multimedia moderator Mozilla links <http://ilias.ca> (Please do not email me tech support questions) |
