'live' install of local (harddrive) searchplugins possible?
either sherlock SRC or 'opensearch' xml plugins.
inklings of scheme: copy and adapt install-script from mycroft webpage with plugin install link (or if necessary, adapt a install scripts from non- myroft plugin providers). my edited script points (file:///Etc) to my "repository" of working plugins on hard drive . even better if the script will install from networked drive, so i haveonly one locaotin to mainatin (besides backups of course) teh goal is to avoid shutdown of many tabs, then restart. goal is particulalry attractive if i'm editing plugins. is this mostly doable? |
