small narrow print
I have switched to Open Office Writer.
Two problems. (1) the printing on the page is about half the selected font size. For example 40pt type comes out at about 1/4 inch. (2) nothing prints beyond about 4.5 inches from the left edge of the paper. Text is folded at about 4.5 inches. either: (a) somebody recognizes the problem; or (b) somebody has questions they want to ask. I would appreciate either response. Tnx, --cc |

I am running Linux. When I click "print", the window that then opens says my printer is CUPS/Canon. --cc |

I printed something in excess of a page. Linux/cups/printer thinks my paper is less than 5 inches wide and 6 inches high. the font is tiny. It is 12 lines/inch and very tiny. --cc |

You may get more effective help in either the OO.o web forum, or via their support mailing lists, which are mirrored on news.gmane.org if you prefer the newsgroup interface: http://support.openoffice.org/ Lee |

Just a thought. bob |
