Hello all when I click on a link in Thunderbird nothing happens it has
been working up to this past Sunday I installed a couple updates from
Microsoft & xpsp3 I do not know if this is a result of the updates or
sp3 or both any help that can be offered is gratefully accepted

If you have more than one internet browser installed, try setting
the other one to default (i.e. if you think FireFox is your default
set Internet Explorer as default). Then see if hyperlinks start
working.

You are correct I had Firefox set to be the default browser switched ti
IE now they are working again . Any idea why this happened ??

Your MS Update most likely hijacked the registry entries needed to
permit links to be passed by windows to any other application.
