Deleted email from Inbox doesn't leave screen
Sometimes (I haven't been able to detect a pattern) when I click the
Delete button after reading an email, nothing seems to happen. The email remains on the screen. But if I close the window, I find that it was, in fact, deleted from the inbox. This has happened to me a few times in the past, but it just happened twice in a row, so it seems to be getting worse. Any idea what might cause that? |

The message your were reading and deleted is in the dispaly memory. It gets replaced by the next message you select, or if You pick from the Go menu > Mail Start Page. It is not a bug. -- Ron K. Who is General Failure, and why is he searching my HDD? Kernel Restore reported Major Error used BSOD to msg the enemy! |

Well, you know the program a lot better than I do, Ron, but I've been using it for years, and that's not how mine normally works. Normally, I click "delete", that email disappears, and the next one in my Inbox appears on the screen. The reason I mentioned it here is that having the deleted email remain on the screen after being deleted is such a rare occurance. So, you're saying the way TBird has been behaving all along (which I like) is wrong, and these rare cases of the email staying on the screen are examples of the program occasionally working properly? |
