any add-on to highlight lines/word in a received mail (manually)

Often I get digest mails from different sources and I am interested in
just a few threads/ messages in it or in entries in case of job-work ad
digests.

but I forget after reading and I need to search that again next time
when I access that mail.

It would help if there is some method that lets me highlight (change
foreground or background color or font size etc (text mails),so that I
can visually find that different color/ size part and then read only
these parts.

Any add on for that?

thanks.

Not within the current design structure of the *.msf Mork db. That
leaves editing the messages themselfs and there are strong ethical
resions why that ability has not been supported. There are some Notes
type add-ons that may work for you.

would you like to mention a few notes type add-ons that are better ones.

It would serve my purpose if I could sort of bookmark a mail to a note
and then clicking on that would take me directly to that line in that
mail in that folder, wherever I had been when I click that.

Use the Extensions link in Help menu and search the Tb Add-ons. I do
not use any of those add-ons so have no suggestions.

Go to mozdev.org and get the Mail Tweaks extension, it has an option to
number the messages within a Mailbox.
Also check out the Tb extensions at

you might find the "quote colors" add-on useful if it has been updated
recently...

It would be nice if Quote Colors were updated because it was bugged to
the point I stopped using it and went back to use of a userContent.css
set of style rules.
