Forward E-Mail with out E-Mail addreses
hi
How can I edit an E-Mail I am forwarding.. Presently it is contained in a small box on the right corner of TB called attachment. This is unfortunate as this attachment contains the details of the person who sent me the E-Mail. And I don't want this to happen.. Cheers Possum www.udopage.com |

What you want is to switch to Inline, and the forwarding message will be displayed in the compose window, much the same as the Quotation when replying to mail. One whay to access the ability is Message menu > Forward As.. > and select Inline from the flyout sub menu. -- Ron K. Who is General Failure, and why is he searching my HDD? Possibly with a use of Config Edit. I have this preference: mail.forward_message_mode Userset integer 2 Now this might be a result of my having the "Forwardas" extension installed. When you access the Config Editor, filter on forward. If that is not listed You can create a new preference, use the Right Click context menu and select new integer, type in the preference name and set the value to 2. -- Ron K. It's more likely the result of: Tools --> Options --> Composition --> [General tab] --> Forward messages: and selecting "Inline". At least that's how mine got set to that value. :-) Ken Whiton FIDO: 1:132/152 InterNet: kenwhiton@surfglobal.net.INVAL (remove the obvious to reply) |

I looked at Options and missed the dropdown on that tab. -- Ron K. Who is General Failure, and why is he searching my HDD? Kernel Restore reported Major Error used BSOD to msg the enemy! |
