Am thinking about updating phones
I presently have a Motorola E815 and have found it to be an
outstanding phone. Presently I am researching phones on phonescoop. 1. Mot v750 Flip 2. Mot Z6c Slide 3. Mot Z6tv Slide #3 was rated the highest but probably because it had the TV They also look quite alike also. But I would have no use for the TV either. I am leaning more to the Z6c over the V750 as I have no use for the PTT feature and the Z6c does have an antenna port if I can find an adapter for it as there are none listed on WilsonElectronics.com..... Any comments regarding the Z6c? My old phone is over 3 years of age and is probably due to be replaced. Thanks for any comments regarding my selection or problems with the Z6c? Lee |

In both cases the battery started to fail. If you just want to stimulate the economy, pick out a phone and plunk down your money. I'll keep mine as long as it works! |

Re: Am thinking about updating phones
Darn Richard, I was looking for encouragement to justify my getting a
new phone! The new every 2 is free so it does not cost all that much and was thinking about keeping the E815 as a backup spare in case the new one broke down and hey it will always dial 911 in case of emergency or give it to the shelter for abused women! Darn !!!! (grin) Lee Richard B. Gilbert wrote: > My first two cell phones lasted about five years each! In both cases > the battery started to fail. Re: Am thinking about updating phones
You should keep your E815 and flash it to Bell Mobility firmware. It will
give you access to Java programs and a non-Verizon UI, but you will still be on Verizon's network! Re: Am thinking about updating phones
You might not need to sign an extended contract anymore, as VZW is offering
month-to-month plans for everybody now (of course, it would not have a NE2, but you are not stuck in a long-term contract either). "Richard B. Re: Am thinking about updating phones
Hi Richard
No it is a contract renewal for sure, heck I am almost 2 years now over contract so what is the difference. Almost anywhere I go the phone works. I bought Verizon for its coverage. Had AT&T at one time but it was not as good. Lee (OK what is TANSTAAFL) Richard B. Gilbert wrote: > Is a "New every two" phone REALLY free?
