extend / restructure partition
HI,
I am new to Debian. I recently installed a Debian on a Sun Netra T1 Sparc machine, and found that I only use 5GB space of its 18GB maximum hard disk size. Here is the current file partition in the debian system: dev:~# df -k Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on /dev/sda1 5106408 538644 4308372 12% / tmpfs 257480 0 257480 0% /lib/init/rw udev 10240 72 10168 1% /dev tmpfs 257480 0 257480 0% /dev/shm dev:~# dev:~# uname -a Linux dev 2.6.18-6-sparc64 #1 Tue Feb 12 21:51:30 UTC 2008 sparc64 GNU/ Linux dev:~# Qeust 1 is: In Debian, how to find out the extra available space that I can use? Quest 2: What can I do to make use the rest of 13GB or 12GB disk space from the same harddisk? Thanks Sam |
