sshd and rpc.mountd taking 100% of cpu on newly installed 2008.1
I have a brand new installed 2008.1. Two users ( root and me). rpc.mountd is taking 100% of cpu immediately when it starts up and continues that way forever. sshd also sometimes starts up and grabs 100% of cpu as well. Totally weird behaviour. Any clues as to what could be going wrong? |

This is rather old, but see if anything in http://mailman.linuxchix.org/piperma...er/020594.html fixes the problem. Regards, Dave Hodgins -- Change nomail.afraid.org to ody.ca to reply by email. I am now conviced it is a bad computer. md5sum on a file gives different answers each time it is run. gkrellm segfaults after a while. Other commands segfault. Time to return the computer and get another one. >Regards, Dave Hodgins >-- >Change nomail.afraid.org to ody.ca to reply by email. >(nomail.afraid.org has been set up specifically for >use in usenet.
