Removing Services

Anyone know a quick way of removing services on Mandriva 2008?

I used urpme to remove Shorewall, but it has left a load of trash behind,
including service that start at boot. Rather than kill them by hand, is
there a tool like srv-remove (tried that and it don't work!)

Define quick. :)

If you mean S*/K* links in /etc/rc.* there is the command chkconfig

Removing the service would be urpme or rm or make, depending on how
the service was installed.

It was simply links, as you point out :-)

No idea how it was installed, it's the first time in years I've put
mandrake/driva on a box and it was there by default.
