Asus (http://usa.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=24) also sells PCs with
xandros linux (http://www.xandros.com/products.html) bundled. Hope

I see that you badly need a Linux machine...

In the states it's quite simple to get Linux Laptops from Asus, Dell and HP
and soon IBM too.

I have seen Toshiba laptops over here at a local reseller which have Ubuntu
preinstalled and with an Ubuntu sticker instead of the microsoft one, but not
sure if those been with OEM version of microsoft that has been removed or not.

But make sure it is not the eeePC. That is a horror story. It is some type
of Linux installation that mimics WinXP including all the faults of that MS
software.
