Groin Kick Pervert sentenced

Am unemployed programmer who encouraged girls to kick him
in the groin has been jailed for four years.

Roger Maynard, who met one of the girls over the inter-net,
using the screen name "Realto Margarino," was convicted by
a jury of two counts of sexual activity with a child and
four of causing or enticing a child to engage in sexual
activity.

The 50-year-old former computer programmer twice stripped
naked from the waist down, crouched on all fours on a towel
in woodland near Toronto and encouraged four underage girls
to kick him in the groin until he passed out from the pain.

Despite using an anonymous inter-net account to contact the
girls, Maynard made the mistake of using the email address
"dranyamr@justlinux.ca." When detectives performed a web
search on the word "dranyamr" they discovered that it is
"R. Maynard" spelled backwards, which led them to get a
court order to track Maynard's online activities through his
inter-net service provider, and eventually to his arrest and
conviction.

Today Judge Julian Dagbee sentenced Maynard, of Toronto,
Canada, to four years and ordered him to be on the sex
offenders' register for life.

He is also banned from working with or from communicating
electronically in any chat room or newsgroup that is
accessible to those who are under 18 years of age.
