First error message from TrueCrypt
TrueCrypt6.0 installed without any apparent problems on openSUSE 10.3
However, the first time that I mounted an encrypted volume, it gave the following error message: Your system uses an old version of the Linux kernel. Due to a bug in the Linux kernel, your system may stop responding when writing data to a TrueCrypt volume. This problem can be solved by upgrading the kernel to version 2.6.24 or later. My openSUSE is running on 2.6.22.18-0.2-default Any thoughts or similar experiences? Godzilla |

A thought might be to, uh, update the kernel. houghi -- The blue light suddenly flashed on my horrified face. What a disaster! Oh, the humanity! I never thought it would happen to me. Keep in mind these aren't official and I don't know how they do keeping up with the security patches. jc |
