OpenSUSE hangs at "Initializing package manager"
I have a Quad Core 2 system, with 1 TB and 4 GB of RAM. I am
installing from a OpenSUSE 11.0 DVD. Everything started OK, but now, the installation hangs at "Initializing package manager". Anyone knows why, and how to resolve this? Thanks. |

I don't really know why but you try having another go . At the start after you have have put the installation disc in the comp and got it running but before install type in 'noacip nolacip' This often works with modern computers because of differing PCI installation.
