Everytime I start ksysguard, a message gets logged (/var/log/messages) that
recommends not using the compability layer and doing it natively. It gives
the following for more explanation:

And, because the lockups with OpenOffice calc have not been resolved yet, I
have to keep using ksysguard to kill calc. It was happening with the last
few updates to calc in 10.3 and continues with 11.0.

skim is not installed on 11.0, so it is not causing the calc problem.
