KDE4 Panel messed up
My KDE4 panel no longer works correctly. Each item is abnormally wide
(the digital clock is in the middle of a huge space occupying 1/3 of the bar, the system trade is about half the bar) and the icons can no longer be moved or resized. When I click on panel settings, instead of the usual options like transparency, etc., I get a gray bar with three icons, center, left, or right, another icon to lock the widgets, and another to unlock them -- nothing else. Running programs don't appear on the bar (or perhaps appear behind the other elongated elements). It worked fine until updating this morning using the SUSE automatic updater widget. What's up with it? |

Not even the KDE 4 developers themselves recommend it for real use yet. It's nice to give it a test and see what's coming next, but for now, for real work stick to KDE 3. |
