I'm a Linux user for about 1 1/2 years but a few months ago I burned several Linux Mint coasters (at least for my machine). Later I tried them another machine and they worked. A new DVD burner solved the problem. I can write and read what I wrote on my machine now. |

When I had a stack of old coasters I tried a new approach. CD-RW. No new coasters. If they do not work, I erase and try again. My external drive has a nice collection of .iso to try. Initial cost is higher but waste is reduced. Down side, there is always one, is that max speed is 4X. Up side is no more coasters. Paul |
