Gnome screensaver crashes system
The gnome screensaver is locking my machine. When I return to my computer
and L/click screen to deactivate screensaver, all action stops and no key or set of keys will allow me to access the O.S. This occurs whether I log in as root or user. Any suggestions?? |

Then Ctrl-Alt-F1 to a virtual console, log in as root, and restart the GUI (I run "/etc/init.d/gdm restart", for example). But also see the advice the others gave. -- The real reason psychology is hard is that psychologists are trying to do the impossible. |
