What do you think about the current gas prices? Why do you think they're so high? Do you believe what they tell you or do you think its all a big scam?

In my opinion, its not about the cost of oil, the cost of transportation, the cost of production or anything like that. Its all about profits and its a ripoff to the consumer. The companies like Mobil, Shell, etc. are making record profits, and yet they blame other things for the high gas prices. The government/regulating body believes them too.

I once saw a graph that showed how they broke down gas cost. It showed oil price, transportation, production, profits, etc. The biggest piece in that pie graph was profits. I wish I could find that graph again.

i dont care but all i care about is 2 days ago i got gas and it was $2.90 and then just yesterday I was out and it was $2.87...how come every time i get gas I have to pay an arm and a leg for it and when I dont need gas it is a low price? this just sucks

lol, that's cheap! When I got gas it was $3.23 here. Now its down to $3.08. I don't think our's is going to get below $3 anytime soon.

Hell, the state is even talking about adding a $0.66/gallon tax because the state is running out of money for road repair and stuff. If they do that, I might just have to move lol.

ya the cheapest we got gas was for $2.85

its already up over $3.50 around here in places!

$3.15 this morning when I got it. It was $51 to fill up my truck, and I still had over a quarter tank left

i got gas for $2.77 yesterday

Its about $3.40 here in Vegas lol
