How would you feel if your s/o had a best friend of the opposite sex and they were really close?

My best friend is female and she lives in Texas (where I used to live). We do say "love ya and miss ya", but there's no sexual feelings between us and never have been.

Melissa doesn't really like how close we are, but she accepts it.

I don't have any problems with having a best friend that is the opposite sex and neither does my husband. I really think people that can't deal with it have their own personal insecurity issues they need to deal with and learn to get over it.

Hey I call my best girl friend my husband's girlfriend in passing and neighter fo them care. She's getting married next summer and I'm in her wedding.

Like I said, get over it

i agree, i don't think there's a problem with it and i would be ok with it, especially since most of my friends are guys. any guy i date needs to accept that because i'm not going to lose friends for a relationship.

That's exactly how I am too. Accept it or it ain't gonna work, friends are more important to me than a guy and I'm not going to give them up.

I have a best female best friend, and DW knew that when we she met me. We're not as close as we once were, mostly because her man doesn't like the idea.
I have no problems with DW having guy friends.
