Enhance Pointer Precision bug?

I like to have said feature on, but it turns off every time I restart or shut
down my computer. Is this regular behavior or is something wrong? If
something is wrong, how would I go about fixing it?

When you "check" it , do you "apply" and "ok " ?

Yes, and it works before I shut down/restart, but not after.

RE: Enhance Pointer Precision bug?

I'm bumping this because I've yet to find a solution. I tried reinstalling
the drivers on the CD provided with the hardware (Microsoft Wheel Mouse
Optical), and the ones from the Microsoft site for that product (I'm not sure
if they're different) and neither of them worked. Is there anything else I
could try?
