Microsoft. Net Framework Issue

I receive an error message that says "An unbundled exception has occurred in
a component in your application. Click continue and application will ignore
this error and attempt to continue. Object reference no set to an instance
of an object."
The windows installer box then appears and nothing I do can remove either.

The initial error message appears in a Microsoft. Net Framework box.

I'm running XP and have recently downloaded SP3.

Any suggestions as to how I can correct this problem?

RE: Microsoft. Net Framework Issue

Try uninstalling then reinstalling all versions of the .Net framework, as
they all need to be installed (eg. .Net version 3 cannot run a version 2
application.)

RE: Microsoft. Net Framework Issue

Hi,
I did the uninstall thing, but when I went to reinstall, it said I had to
have a certain disc to do so. I seem to have my start up discs, but can not
find the one that this eludes to....Anyone have any ideas how I can get rid
of the error message, and re istall the net framework without a cd? Thank you
