Re: Screen Inverted
I dont know if this will solve everyone's problem, but I accidentally did this while at work today, and this is how I solved the problem. We use Dells with integrated video acceleration: ctrl + alt + uparrow Actually, on this computer, you can rotate the screen presentation every way you want using ctrl + alt + [arrow key]. If you push down, the screen literally goes upside down. It also inverts the mouse function, so be ready for that. Hope this helps someone! -- orpheus ------------------------------------------------------------------------ orpheus's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/member.php?userid=49265 View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=629160 http://forums.techarena.in |

This is support for people who have screens which can be rotated physically. I'm thinking of getting one. Presumably, you press ctrl+alt+{whichever arrow key corresponds to where you want the top of the display to be} then rotate the screen. Some screens have sensors, which do this automatically (in conjunction with drivers that know about it). I've always been tempted to see if anything happens when I do this. but I'm too scared that it will get stuck that way (if the wind stops blowing, for example) and I'll spend the rest of my career standing on my head. :-) -- Steve Swift http://www.swiftys.org.uk/swifty.html http://www.ringers.org.uk |
