Display Problem -window Disappears on Minimize

One of my programs opens in a full screen. When I click "restore down",
the window disappears. I can restore it from the task bar, but only to
full screen.

Is there something I can do to make it react normally, that is, allow me
to maximize it, or resize it?

Its location or size is possibly messed up in the registry, so when
restored down, it disappears off-screen. Here are some ways to get it
back on-screen:

- Right-click the Taskbar, click "Cascade Windows".

- With the window open, press Alt/Spacebar, press "M", press a cursor
key. That will lock the window to the mouse pointer. Position the
window, click the mouse.

Thanks for the help. I followed your directions, and it worked well. The
window maximizes and restores down well. However, when I re-open the
program, the window still comes up maximized and disappears when I click
restore down. Do you have a next step that will fix things?

Hmm.. it must be losing the location parameters, or never recording
them. But it could be a damaged install of the specific program. Try
another download/install of the program. Or try press the Ctrl key as
you close the window from a restored/down condition.

Elmo

I was able to fix the problem this way:
I found an option in the program to remember window size.
It had a value of 0 (false), which I changed to 1 (true). That did it.

Thanks for your help.

Nightsky ~

I am having the same problem. However, you didn't mention where you
found the option in the program to change the window size. Could you
point me in the right direction.
