XP Home Edition currently at SP3

I have some folders and sub-folders that display pictures in thumbnail view.

I have tried virtually everything to undo displaying pictures on these
folders.

Any suggestions?

What did you try?
Did you try View-Customize this folder and change the folder type to
"Documents"?

I've tried that, restore defaults.

I even created a NEW Folder and copied the files in the old folder to it.
It looks like the attributes were copied as well.
