Hi,

SATELLITE TOSHIBA 2430/255

Device Manger ... shows CDROM
BIOS.................... do not show CDROM option.

1 - Uninstall from Device Manager, reboot the system, found new hardware,
installed, but won't read any CD or DVD;
2 - Can't see CD or DVD contentes...but will "eject" at explorer.
3 - Already update drive from TEAC;
4 - Can't update BIOS. Don't have floppy

Need help...:(

And what cdrom options do you expect to see in the bios?
Usually the only options are to set the boot order

If cd's are readable on other sys, but not on yours, then maybe your cd
drive or connection to the motherboard has a problem
