Re: Problems with perfctrs.dll
Thanks for your reply. However, I'm not sure the article you linked applies
to WinXP or the condition it describes would cause a system state backup to fail. The article states: APPLIES TO • Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition (32-bit x86) • Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition (32-bit x86) • Microsoft Windows 2000 Server • Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server • Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional Edition "John John (MVP)" wrote: > How to manually rebuild Performance Counter Library values > http://support.microsoft.com/?id=300956 > > John > > Kevin wrote: > > > I have a PC running WinXP SP3 and it appears the file "perfctrs.dll" has been > > corrupted somehow as I cannot successfully back up the system state. > > > > Any help on repairing/replacing this file would be greatly appreciated. > |
