clean install xp home - driver issues
I had to do a clean install on this NEW pc of my friend because he allowed
his teenage son to use the pc before anti-virus was installed.(yikes) the box is a foxconn TW-02 and it came with a MSI drivers & Utilities disc chipset for XP. by using device manager and this CD I managed to update the drivers for 4 different devices But the last 2 failed. I tried twice. I them attempted to uninstall/reinstall the devices as help suggested. XP detects the 2 devices on start up, but using the disc doesnt resolve this. the 2 devices are : "2 wire USB remote NDIS ethernet" and "PCI device" PS - there is no connectivity at the moment Thanks for any help, Regards, Jo |
