Wallpapers
I accidently deleted the standard wallpapers when I was going through and
cleaning up my pictures. They are not in the recycle bin. Is there any way I can restore them? Or, is there a site on Microsoft where I can download them? I am using Windows XP Pro, SP2. I have tried to find the correct way to do this, but I must not be searching the right way. Thank you to anyone who will help me with this. |

I usually delete them as I like what I can find in google images better. My grandson is better wallpaper. |

You can download the Microsoft supplied wallpapers that are stored in the C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper folder from this web site. Courtesy of Kelly Theriot, MS-MVP Line 339, left hand column, XP/Web Wallpaper Defaults http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm The collection of available XP wallpapers will also include 11 .BMP files that are located in the C:\Windows folder. Let men know If these are missing and you want to restore them. I might be able to put something together that you can download. Good luck Nepatsfan |
