MS Calculator is interferring with text writing
Something very odd has recently occured when I attempt to write text
in email, newsnet and other venues - when certain keyboard letters (p,e, etc) are struck up pops Calculator - additionally when an apostrophe is struck, words jump a line and letters are transposed. I have tried to delete the calculator.exe in Start>Accessories but it returns and the problem continues. Any suggestions or fixes would be appreciated. Mary |

Please replace it with a nice new one. Before you buy anything you'll need to check if you can use a USB port or if you need to use the PS/2 port. There are a number of considerations to make such as number of free ports if you have any and what they are. The operating system you use is also going to play a part in your decision along with cost. Don't skimp and buy something too cheap as you can end up throwing good money down the drain. You'll also need to ignore anything written in these groups by a majority of posters as they seem to enjoy sending people on wild goose chases. Look at the replies to your post, for example. All but myself and Kadaicha Man are complete and utterly useless cunts. I hope this information helps you resolve your problem. If you have a calculator.exe (and it keeps reappearing), it's not standard and is probably suspect. -sw |
