RE: Stand-by mode
I'm having the same problem, but just found under the Control Panel "Power
Option Properties." On the "Power Schemes" tab at the bottom there are choices for time settings for System standby and System hibernates. I'm setting System Standby to "Never" and System Hibernates to "20 min." I have no idea if this will work, but it's worth a try. I was blaming my computer, but am hoping it's a software glitch.
