My Search function has ceased to be in XP. Desktop Search is not working and
when I try to search in Explorer, the search area is blank. When I boot up
I get the following error:
WNetEnumChachedPasswords could not be located in the dynamic link library
MPR.dll
I get the same error when I try to use the desktop search.
Anybody know how to fix this. All I have tried is to reinstall DTS 3.01

IE 7 has a feature to restore search. IE, tools menu, Options, General tab,
Search area, "Settings" button.

Log on to the computer by using an account with administrator permissions.
2. Click Start, click Run, type %systemroot%\inf, and then click OK.
3. Locate the Srchasst.inf file.
4. Right-click the Srchasst.inf file, and then click Install. This
reinstalls the files that Search Companion uses.
