Review: HTC Touch for Sprint
I bought this phone a few weeks ago, and I must say that it is the best PDA Phone I've ever owned.
Info: http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=1294 Reception: 10/10 I think I've had the best reception of any phone I've ever owned with this one. I've dropped 1 call since I had it, which isn't bad at all, considering I was driving at the time. Sound Quality: 9/10 By default the sound isn't that great. Its a little on the low end and I found it hard to hear if I was in a noisy place. I found an AudioPara.csv file on a website and that greatly improved the sound. The speaker isn't the best, but it gets the job done. Memory/Storage: 10/10 This phone has the most memory and storage space out of any PDA Phone I've ever seen. With my old phone, I had to install programs to a memory card because there wasn't enough on-board storage space. I have installed everything to main memory on this phone and still have 55Mb left. The benefit to this is that programs can run faster and you can swap out memory cards without worrying about programs running. Overall: 9/10 There's only a few downsides to this phone. 1) It takes a while to get used to typing on an on-screen keyboard. 2) The memory card is hard to get to...you have to take off the battery cover and flip open a hard to access side cover. I plan on keeping this phone for a long time. Its thin, it works, it doesn't crash, and it does everything I want. |
