New Sprint CEO Dan Hesse will be instituting another round of layoffs "to show investors a new commitment to efficiency and cost discipline," according to the Wall Street Journal. The exact number of layoffs is not clear yet, but it's expected to be in the order of several thousand. The company laid off five thousand employees last year, and current employs around 60,000 people.
