The Compaq Safety and Comfort Guide software creates registry entries that are not compatible with Internet Explorer. RESOLUTION WARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. To work around this issue, use the following steps. NOTE: If you delete these registry values, the Compaq Safety and Comfort Guide software may no longer work correctly. Please contact Compaq to inquire about a possible update to address this issue. 1. Using Registry Editor, delete all values in the following registry key: HKEY_USERS\.Default\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Cur rentVersion\ Explorer\StreamMRU 2.
