Halt issues after upgrading to IE7
If you upgrade to Internet Explorer 7 on Windows XP with Service Pack 2, reboot, and have it halt on updating desktop items, simple kill the wuauclt.exe process, and the mysqlnt.exe process also if it is running, it will then continue the update process, and explorer.exe will load normally.
