Back to the top CAUSE This behavior can occur if the default e-mail format is Hyper-Text Markup Language (HTML) and the default font size is not set to 8, 10, 12, 14, 18, 24 or 36 in Outlook Express. HTML-based e-mail in Outlook Express can only use a font size of 8, 10, 12, 14, 18, 24 and 36, and is unable to correctly interpret other font sizes.
