How to Restore a Mail Merge Main Document to a Normal Word Document
To restore a Word mail-merge main document to a normal Word document, follow these steps:
Display the Mail Merge toolbar if you do not see it on your screen. To do this, point to Letters and Mailings on the Tools menu, and then click Show Mail Merge Toolbar.
On the Mail Merge toolbar, click Main document setup.
Click Normal Word document, and then click OK.
